2024 News and new upgrades at Blue Room In 2023 we were bombarded with construction between our new studio in Atlanta and our renovations of the historic Lion Share Studios in Los Angeles. It felt like the whole year was one big renovation and we are finally coming up for air. Not only that, we even remodeled the A room private restroom at Blue Room Atlanta, replaced carpet in our hallway, and repainted the building. Our goal this year in Atlanta is to keep enhancing the vibe and to make the space more and more musical and more comfortable than ever. This includes more instruments, synths, furniture, lighting, and better organization. Engineer Drew Kelly has even parked his Mapex drum kit in the live room available for sessions as well! We all feel like the vibe of the studio as a whole is currently at an all time high - with two bathroom renovations in 2023, new furniture, repairs, new carpets, new lighting and a wide open live room we are ready for another amazing year! We’ve also updated both studio rooms to mac studio computers with m2 chips, added a Bricasti reverb m7 in studio A, and have maintained everything in tip top condition on both the analog and digital side of the rooms. Another goal for 2024 is to work more with live musicians and we are teaming up with some of the best musicians we know to schedule some live sessions in the room. We’ll be filming the sessions and showcasing some amazing talent in a very organic and comfortable live room setting with the goal of keeping these sessions going into our new studio facility when it is ready to open. The sessions will be a complete dream team of musicians with Jon Jon Webb as musical director. Jon Jon has worked with everyone from Beyonce, Rodney Jerkins, Erykah Badu, Sugarland, Mos Def, etc. and will bring in some special guests and friends. The Blue Room team of engineers We have a different system than most studios. Instead of a long call list of engineers that float, we are a very small team that work together almost exclusively out of the same spaces. This means when you work with one of our engineers or assistants, you’re working with someone who knows the room in and out, has experience working with a wide variety of some of the best artists in music across different genres, has an already established synergy with the assistants and team, and believes in working as a team. These engineers are lead by Timon Adams, Zach Schultze, Drew Kelly, Alex Garcia. and Ellantre Williams Timon Adams - has worked with everyone from recording and mixing from Ari Lennox, Missy Elliott, Jermaine Dupri, Earthgang, Bri Stevens, Tate Kobang, Ken Carson, Tia Corinne, DVSN, NLE Choppa, Kevin Gates, Blackbear, King Von, Ceo Trayle, Pierre Bourne, Rahli, Omeretta, Destroy Lonely, K Camp, Dreezy, Mereba, Jacquees, Lil Keed. Zach Schultze - Toosii, Hitmaka, Mooski, JID, Juice Wrld, Foster the People, James Blake, Tink, Desin Laurel, Chxrry22, Steve G, 21 Savage, Trippie Redd, Metro Boomin, Kenny Mason, KRS One, Pnb Rock, Shordie Shordie, 24k Golden Drew Kelly - Nardo Wick, Mud Baby, Saucegod, Buda.
