The world famous Lion Share Studios that during the 80s was booked around the clock by legends like Micheal Jackson, Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Barbara Streisand, Donna Summer, David Foster, Chicago, Kenny Loggins, Debarge, The Tubes, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Julio Iglesias, Chaka Khan, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, George Duke, Seal, and so many more is now back open brought to you by none other than the same Blue Room team that you all know and trust. Our concept is simple - the hominess and comfort you always feel in our spaces, privacy, and creativity first! Lion Share was known to be a luxury studio while it was thriving and we’ve done our best to preserve the unique elements that make it what it is: the sliding mirrors, wooden ceiling louvers, the vintage wood paneling, panoramic glass views etc. All of this while carefully consulting the original designer Carl Yanchar as well as adding our own workflow and design contributions from past experiences. The finishing result is a relaxed, elegant, and comfortable work environment. A place where artists can really get work done and focus while blocking out all other distractions. The speaker system is also upgraded to perform to today’s music with beautiful custom Augspurger style walnut speaker cabinets and sub woofers that deliver unmatched depth and clarify. We’ve replaced all control room fabrics, flooring (where needed), added bass trapping and acoustic panels, replaced ceiling with fabric track system, added back wall diffusion, fixed rattling glass walls, rewired the room to accommodate a modern HEAR cue system and HDMI feeds, added a kitchen area, replaced all lighting, added cove lighting, replaced all cable feeds to speakers with Mogami cable and calibrated and tuned the room with our classic API 2448 console. We’ve also added some designer furnishings and have more pieces on the way. This room is elegant, warm, and classic. It’s a true dream space where the creative endeavor can thrive.
